Bolts with collar for subframe > < Bearing cap bolt on the longitudinal member: verification

Removing
–  Suspend the engine/gearbox assembly with the tool -U-30025E-.
–  Remove the sub-frame → Chapter.
If the hood screw thread on the longitudinal member is damaged, it must be reworked or the bolt on the hood must be perforated. If it is to be perforated proceed as follows.
–  Pierce the damaged bearing cap nut on the longitudinal member by drilling upwards using a drill bit of Ø 10.2 mm.
  WARNING
t  Wear protective glasses.
t  Do not tilt the drill while piercing.
–  Tap the new thread M 12 x 1,5 in the bearing cap nut.
–  Always use new collar bolts → Chapter.
