–  Move the lower part of the wheel in and out forcefully.
  Note
t  During both checks there must be no discernible or visible “play”.
t  Observe the ball joint during the checking.
t  Possible play in the wheel bearings or “play” in the upper telescopic arm bearing must be taken into consideration.
t  Check the dustguard for damage; if necessary replace ball joint.
