Tightening torques of the front axle > < Installing

Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-, see equivalence → Anchor
  W00-0427
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1332-, see equivalence → Anchor
Removing rubber bush
–  Remove soundproofing.
–  Remove right drive shaft from gearbox and fix with wire.

–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- on both sides.
–  Pull anti-roll bar clamp off rubber bush.
–  Remove rubber bush from anti-roll bar.
Installing rubber bush
Tightening torques of front axle components → Chapter.
  N40-10345
–  Install the rubber bearing -1- through the bore -arrow- in the stabiliser.
  Note
t  Ensure that the outer edge of rubber bush -1- lies against stop -2-.
t  Depending on the version, the stop -2- may be located on the right or left-hand side.

–  Secure clamps to subframe -arrows-.
–  Install right drive shaft.
–  Install soundproofing.
