Removing
Removing
–  Remove wheel.
Vehicles with drum brakes
–  Retract brake. Press the wedge on the brake drum upwards with a screwdriver, passing through the threaded opening of the brake drum.
   
–  Unscrew the star bolt for the brake drum and remove the brake drum.
Vehicles with disc brakes

–  Remove the bolts -A- securing the brake calliper.
–  Remove the brake calliper and secure it to one side so that the weight of the callipers cannot damage the brake system lines.
  Note
Do not unscrew the brake line when separating the brake callipers.
–  Unscrew the brake disk star bolt and remove the brake disc.

Release the dust guard cover
–  Release the dustguard cover by tapping gently on the extractor -T20078- so that it is released from its allotment.
  Note
t  Even though the illustration shows the application for the drum brakes, this is also valid for the disk brakes.
t  For vehicles fitted with ABS, do not damage the sensor ring fitted in the wheel bearing.
–  Extract the dodecagonal nut.
–  Separate the bearing assembly with the wheel hub from the axle journal.
