  Note
t  Replace bolts and self-locking nuts.
t  No welding or straightening work is allowed on the elements of the steering system.
1 - Hexagonal self-locking nut
q   Set the tightening torque so that the lever closes when a force of 80 ±5 N is applied.
2 - Washer
q   The embedded metal washer must face the hexagonal nut → Item

4 - Spring element
5 - Track
6 - Support bracket
7 - Spring
8 - Clamp washer
q   Note assembly position → Anchor
9 - Clamp washer
q   Note assembly position → Anchor
10 - Control lever
11 - Steering column combination switch
12 - Steering mount upper element
q   With upper element of the column
q   With slip release; cannot be disassembled
Above a torque of 100 Nm on the steering wheel, the steering column turns together with the steering wheel without damaging the locking pin.
13 - Steering lock housing
q   Removing and fitting the lock cylinder → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.94
14 - Track
15 - Guide pipe
16 - Steering mount lower element
q   With lower element of the column
q   Cannot be disassembled
17 - Hexagonal bolt, 7 Nm
18 - Bolt
19 - Hexagonal nut, 25 Nm
