Length of the track rod: checking and adjusting

–  Check the measurement -a- of the track rod, and adjust if necessary.
Measurement -a- = 378.5 ± 1 mm.
  Note
t  If the track rod is new, check the measurement -a-, and adjust if necessary before fitting it.
t  Check the steering angle after adjusting the total convergence → Chapter
