–  When fitting the dust cover, note the edge -arrows- against the box housing, ensure that the pressure compensation line is correctly fitted.
–  Check for damage (scratches or cracks), check if they are clean and that there is no damage to the dust cover seal.
Procedure
–  Fit the dust cover. Cautiously rotate the bar steering rod until the steering rod head is in fitting position.

–  Fit using the clamp pliers -T20072- . Ensure that the edges of the tool fit into the corners of the clamp.
–  Tense the clip by turning the screw using the torque wrench taking special care not to incline the pliers during the operation.
  Note
t  Only use original clamps.
t  If the screw thread is difficult, when it is dirty, for example, the force necessary to put the clamp under pressure using the prescribed torque cannot be achieved.

t  Under no circumstances must the dustguard be fitted by rotation (twisting -arrows-), (the diagram shows how not to fit the dustguard).
