Loosening the tyres
Loosening the tyres
–  Deflate the tyre. Unscrew the nickel plated valve element for this.

–  When removing the tyre in a tyre mounting machine with a tyre lever, please note that the tyre valve -arrow- always has to be located on the opposite side of the tyre lever -1-.
The tyre lever must be applied, at most, 2 cm from the edge of the rim.
–  Remove the balancing weights and clean the heavy dirt from the rim.
  Caution
Do not use hydrocarbon based lubricants; these will damage the rubber of the tyre.
  N44-10243
–  Loosen both beads completely, applying abundant tyre paste between the tyre and the edge of the rim -arrow-.
