Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Micrometer sphere -V.A.G 1435-
–  Fasten the whole wheel on the balancer.
–  Apply a prior stress of 2 mm to the micrometer dial -V.A.G 1435-.
–  Turn the wheel slowly.
   
–  Note the minimum and maximum values recorded.
S  - Axial run-out
H  - Radial run-out
–  Compare the measured values with the theoretical values in the table → Anchor.
  Note
Ignore the one-off peak measurements on the micrometer caused by the elevation or depression of the material.

If the measured value exceeds the theoretical value, the noise when driving will increase to unacceptable levels.
