Safety instructions and conditions
l  Tyres with emergency running features (SST-Runflat-System) can only be mounted on vehicles where these are initial equipment.
l  The tasks of removing and fitting tyres with emergency running capacity should only be carried out by specially trained mechanical personnel.
l  Since the sides of this tyre type can be of a high stiffness, their disassembly and assembly is only possible with tyre assembly machines, which are designed for low profiles, ultra high performance (height-width ratio less than or equal to 45% and speed symbol greater than or equal to V) and are equipped with special pressures arms.
l  Tyre assembly machines that require the manual extraction of the beads may not be used.
l  The special tools required must be in perfect condition and not damaged. For optional tools, contact the manufacturer of the tyre fitting machine in your workshop. In the case of tyre fitting machines registered in the lists with VAS or SAT numbers, additional tools are offered as recommended accessories.
l  Tools without plastic protection must not be used, as they may damage the rim and cause problems to the correct functioning of this type of tyre.
l  If necessary a fitting paste recommended by the tyre manufacturer should be used.
l  Depending on the manufacturer of the device and the type of device, the description of the operational work sequences may differ for the removal and fitting.
l  The work sequences described below are a conceptual explanation of the removal and fitting tyres with emergency running capacity Note that, before starting with the removal or fitting, it could be a "tyre with emergency running capacity" and therefore should be handled accordingly.
l  It is extremely important to adhere to the instructions and warnings in the following descriptions.
l  Remember to run the basic settings adjustment for the tyre pressure control system after any modifications are made to the tyres → Anchor.
