Fog light bulb: Removing and installing
Fog light bulb: Removing and installing
  Note
t  Remove and instell the left fog light bulb -L22- or right fog light bulb -L23-.
t  The figures show the removal or installation of the right fog light.
Removing
–  Disconnect ignition and all electrical loads, and remove ignition key.
–  Remove the protective elements of the fog light. → Bodywork exterior fitting work; Rep. gr.63
  Note
In the following figures, the fog light is shown removed for increased clarity.
   
–  Unscrew the bolt.

–  Unlock and remove the electric connector -1-.

–  Remove the bulb holder with the fog light bulb-1- from the headlight frame in the -direction of the arrow-.
The bulb for the fog light is fixed in the bulb frame and cannot be replaced separately.
Fog light bulb: H11 12 V, 55 W
Installation:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing, note the following:
–  Check the function of the fog light.
–  Check the adjustment of the fog light and adjust this when necessary „maintenance to be considered precisely“; → Booklet701.
