Number plate light: removing and fitting
Number plate light: removing and fitting
Removing:
–  Disconnect ignition and all electrical loads, and remove ignition key.
–  Remove the fixing screws -arrows- from the number plate lamp.
   
–  Remove the diffuser glass with bulb from the holder in the housing for the unit in the number plate lighting.

–  Press the contact plate in -the direction of the arrow- and remove the bulb.
Screw connection for the number plate lighting bulb: tube-shaped bulb 12 V, 5 W
Installing:
Install in the reverse order of removal. When doing this, note the following:

t  A small silver coloured anti-dazzle protection strip -arrow- has been applied to the diffuser glass of the number plate lighting. This must always face the bumper side when mounting the diffuser glass.

t  When installing the number plate lighting, take care that the seal of the diffuser glass is inserted correctly.

–  Tighten the fixing screws -arrows- to a torque of 1.2 Nm.
–  Check the function of the number plate lighting.
