Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, noting the following:

–	Make sure that all retaining hooks and connectors are properly engaged.

Note

When installing the coil, the slip ring must be located in the centre position and the wheels must be positioned „facing forwards“.

In the following, the centre position of the coil will be illustrated that depends on the manufacturer:

t	The black bands -arrow- should be at the level of the inspection window -1-.

t	The coloured band (yellow) -arrow- should be at the level of the inspection window -1-.

Note

When a new steering angle sender -G85- is fitted then the „Basic adjustment“ must be carried out
