Removal:

–	Disconnect the battery.

–	Remove driver's side airbag module → Bodywork, Interior fitting work; Rep. gr.69

–	Remove steering wheel → Chassis, axles, steering; Rep. gr.48.

–	Remove the steering column trim → Bodywork, interior installation work; Rep. gr.68.

Note

When installing the coil, the slip ring must be located in the centre position and the wheels must be positioned „facing forwards“.

–	Remove steering column electronics control unit -J527- → Chapter.

–	Carefully release fasteners -arrows- and pull coil connector with slip ring off steering column-1- switch module.
