Removing and installing the door lock > < Rear door (Praktik)

  Note
t  The door at the rear on the left must not be opened in some countries due to legal requirements (the lock remains permanently in the locked position).
t  The door trim panel will be destroyed if the locked door at the rear on the left is opened.
   
1 - Fixed window pane
q   removing:
–  Removing cover → Item.
–  Remove the outer → Item channel seal.
–  Remove the inner → Item channel seal.
–  Release screw → Item.
–  Remove the window pane.
q   Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
2 - Outside channel seal
3 - Door
q   removing and installing → Chapter
4 - Inside window run
5 - 3.5 Nm
6 - Inside channel seal
7 - Assembly carrier
q   removing:
–  Removing door trim panel → Chapter.
–  Unclip securing rod.
–  Release screws → Item.
–  Remove the assembly carrier.
q   Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
8 - 8 Nm
9 - 8 Nm
10 - Holding bracket for the cover
11 - Stop
12 - Cover
q   removing:
–  Remove assembly carrier → Item.
–  Release screw → Item.
–  Remove the holding bracket → Item with stop → Item and let the cover lower downwards.
–  Remove the cover.
q   Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
