Setting E-drive (0 position) > < Removing and installing sun screen

Removing and installing E-drive
Removing and installing E-drive
  Note
The E-drive can only be removed and installed when the sliding/tilting roof closed.
Removing
   
–  Using a wedge -3409- remove the E-drive cover -1-.
–  Disconnect the plug connection of the E-drive.
–  Remove the automatic preselection mechanism → Anchor.

–  Release screws -arrows- and remove drive.
Install
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
  Note
t  Always replace the drive screws with new ones (3.5 Nm).
t  Adapt drive → Chapter.
Removing automatic preselection mechanism
  N60-0104
–  Using a wedge -3409- remove the E-drive cover -1-.
  S60-0054
–  Remove light covering -1- in -direction of arrow-.
  N60-0083
–  Remove screws -arrows- and remove lamp with control.
–  Disconnect the control plug connection and remove control from lamp.
Install
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
