| The checking of the function is identical for the engine pump aggregates of TRW and KOYO. |
| –
| Remove front left wheel. |
| –
| If necessary turn steering up to stop. |
| –
| Listen to and/or touch the engine pump aggregate to check whether it is running. |
| If the engine pump aggregate is not working: |
| –
| Perform self-diagnosis of the power-steering → Chapter. |
| –
| Install left front wheel. |
| If the engine pump aggregate is working and if there are other faults: |
| –
| Perform self-diagnosis of the power-steering → Chapter. |
| If faults are stored in the fault memory: |
| If a fault is stored in the fault memory: |
| –
| Check the feed pressure of the engine pump aggregate → Chapter. |
