Removing
The procedure for removing the oil pan on a 1.0 ltr. and 1.4 ltr. engine is identical → Chapter.
Install
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Sealant -AMV 188 520- (Loctite 574)
   
–  Coat the joints between the timing case/cylinder block -arrows- with sealant -AMV 188 520- (Loctite 574) before installing the oil pan with gasket.
–  Position oil pan with gasket.
  S17-0082
–  Tighten securing bolts in the specified order.
   Tightening torque: 10 Nm
  Note
The bracket for the front coolant pipe is also attached with bolts -2- and -6- (M6 x 22). Do not mix up with other screws (M6 x 20).
