Checking wires > < Testing angle sender for throttle valve drive

Testing the voltage supply of the throttle valve control unitJ338
Testing the voltage supply of the throttle valve control unit -J338-
–  Disconnect the plug from the throttle valve control unit -J338-.
–  Switch on ignition.
   
–  Connect handheld multimeter for voltage measurement as follows:
  S24-0583
6-pin plug on wiring loom, contactSpecified value 
2 + earthapprox. 5 V 
2 + 6approx. 5 V

If the specified values are reached:
–  Also test the wiring from the engine control unit to the throttle valve control unit -J338- → Chapter.
If the specified values are not reached:
–  Test the wiring from the engine control unit to the throttle valve control unit -J338- → Chapter.
