| Engine leak search spray (e.g. G 001 800 A1) |

| The coolant temperature must be at least 80 °C → Chapter display group 001, display field 2. |
Note t
| Because of the vacuum in the intake system the leak search spray is sucked in with the unmetered air. The leak search spray reduces the ignition performance of the mixture. This results in a drop in engine speed and a change in the lambda probe voltage. |

| Connect vehicle system tester -V.A.G 1552-. Start engine and select address word 01 “Engine electronics” → Chapter. |

| Select function 08 “Read measured value block” and display group 033. |
