| Coolant temperature must be at least 80 °C. |

| All electrical consumers, e.g. lights and rear window heater, must be switched off. |

| If vehicle is equipped with air conditioning, this must be switched off. |

| Connect vehicle system tester -V.A.G 1552-. Start engine and select address word 01 “Engine electronics” → Chapter. |

| Select function 08 “Read measured value block” and confirm the entry with key Q. |
