Activating and deactivating cruise control system (CCS)
Activating and deactivating cruise control system (CCS)
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Vehicle system tester -V.A.G 1552 - with cable -V.A.G 1551/3, 3A, 3B oder 3C-
Test conditions
l  There must not be any fault in the fault memory → Chapter.
Test sequence
–  Connect vehicle system tester -V.A.G 1552-. Switch the ignition on and select address word 01 “Engine electronics” → Chapter.
   
Read-out on display, e.g.:
If “2.0 l R4/2V G” is displayed, CCS is activated.

If “2.0 l R4/2V G” is displayed, CCS is not activated.

–  Press key and select function 11 “Login procedure”.
Enter code number by referring to the table below and confirm entry with Q key.

–  Select function 06 “End output” and switch ignition off.
After the CCS is activated, conduct a test drive as an operational check.
