| Installation is carried out in the reverse order. |

| Inspect boot for damage; the boot must be replaced together with the selector lever control cable. |

| Check correct fitting of the boot and do not install the boot twisted. |

| Do not bend or buckle selector lever control cable. |

| Selector lever and lever/gearshift shaft are in position “P”, the front wheels are blocked. |

| When installing replace the seal between the selector lever control cable and the shift housing and the seal between the cover and the shift housing. |
