t  Thrust piece -MP3-423 (VW 407)-
t  Bushing -MP3-424 (30-21)-
t  Centering mandrel -T30029 (3176)-
t  Pressure plate -T40008-
t  Interior extractor 14.5...18.5 mm e.g. - Kukko 21/2-
t  Interior extractor 23.5...30 mm e.g. - Kukko 21/4-
t  Countersupport e.g. -Kukko 22/1 -
t  Countersupport e.g. -Kukko 22/2 -
   
1 - Bushing
q   for selector rods
q   replace after each disassembly → electronic catalogue of original parts
q   removing → Fig.
q   inserting → Fig.
2 - Shaft for reverse gear shift fork
q   Shaft cannot be removed with workshop tools
q   When using a new clutch housing a new shaft must be pressed in → Fig.
3 - Needle bushing
q   replace after each disassembly → electronic catalogue of original parts
q   removing → Fig.
q   installing → Fig.
4 - Fitting sleeve
q   2 pieces
5 - Clutch housing
q   if replaced: Setting the drive shaft, output shafts and differential gear → Chapter
6 - Gasket ring for drive shaft
q   removing → Fig.
q   installing → Fig.
7 - Gasket ring
q   for right flange shaft
q   replace → Chapter
8 - Washer
q   for differential
q   always 0.65 mm thick
9 - Outer ring/tapered-roller bearing
q   for differential
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   if replaced: Adjusting the differential gear → Chapter
10 - Oil deflecting washer
q   Fitting position: Shoulder on the hole points to the output shaft
11 - Outer ring/tapered-roller bearing
q   for output shaft gears 1 through 4
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   if replaced: Setting output shaft gears 1 through 4 → Chapter
12 - Outer ring/tapered-roller bearing
q   for output shaft 5th/6th and reverse gear
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   if replaced: Setting output shaft 5th/6th and reverse gear → Chapter
13 - Washer
q   for output shaft
q   always 0.65 mm thick
14 - Outer ring/tapered-roller bearing
q   for drive shaft
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   if replaced: Setting drive shaft → Chapter
15 - Magnet
q   is held in position by the separator surface of the housing
16 - Cap
q   not fitted to all clutch housings

   
Remove bushing for gear shift rod
A - Countersupport, e.g. -Kukko 22/1-
B - Interior extractor 14.5...18.5 mm, e.g. -Kukko 21/2-
  N34-1018
Drive in the bushing for shift rod flush
  S34-0567
Pull out the needle bushing from the clutch housing
A - Countersupport, e.g. -Kukko 22/2-
B - Interior extractor 23.5...30 mm, e.g. -Kukko 21/4-
  Note
The needle bushing is damaged when removed and must be replaced.
  N34-1020
Pressing needle bushing -A- into the clutch housing
–  During press-in procedure, position the thrust washer -B- of the reverse shaft onto the needle bushing -A-.

Removing gasket ring for drive shaft
–  Carefully lever out gasket ring with screwdriver.
Gasket ring can be removed with the bushing -MP3-424- if the gearbox is disassembled.

Insert the gasket ring for the drive shaft until flush

Press shaft for reverse gear shift fork into the clutch housing
