Removing and installing engine speed senderG28
Removing and installing engine speed sender -G28-
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Hose clamps -MP 7-602 (3094)-
Removing
   
–  Remove noise insulation -arrows-.
–  Pinch off coolant hoses at engine oil cooler with hose clamps -MP 7-602 (3094)- und disconnect the hoses from the cooler.
–  Release fixing screw and remove engine speed sender -G28-.
Install
Installation occurs in reverse order for removal, while paying attention to the following:
Tightening torque of engine speed sender -G28-:
t  Hexagon screw (Combi) M6x16: 9 Nm.
t  Twelve-sided bolt M7x18: 13 Nm.
