1 - Bottom toothed belt guard
q   unscrew to remove the belt pulley/vibration damper
2 - Middle toothed belt guard
3 - 10 Nm
q   replace
4 - Engine support bracket
q   removing → Chapter
5 - 45 Nm
6 - Top toothed belt guard
7 - Toothed belt
q   before removing mark running direction
q   check for wear
q   do not kink
q   removing → Chapter
q   installing and tensioning → Chapter
8 - 25 Nm
9 - Washer
10 - 100 Nm
q   to release and tighten the counterholder -T30004 (3415)- and -MP1-216 (3036)- use
11 - Camshaft sprocket
q   with rotor for camshaft position sensor -G40-
q   remove for removing and installing the timing belt → Chapter
q   Fix installation position by woodruff key pos. 14
12 - Camshaft sprocket cover
13 - 10 Nm
14 - Woodruff key
q   check tightness
15 - Camshaft position sensor -G163-
q   when tightening the screw, ensure that the base plate is centered
16 - 10 Nm
17 - Rear toothed belt guard
18 - 20 Nm
19 - Semi-automatic tensioning pulley
q   Fitting position → Fig.
q   check → Chapter
20 - Coolant pump
q   removing and installing → Chapter
21 - 15 Nm
22 - Crankshaft - toothed belt sprocket
q   there must not be any oil present on the contact surface between the toothed belt sprocket and the crankshaft
q   can be installed only in one position
23 - 90 Nm + torque a further 90° (1/4 turn)
q   replace
q   Fit bolt in original condition, do not oil or grease
q   to release and tighten the counterholder -T30004 (3415)- or -MP1-310 (3099)- use
q   when bolting on counter-holder -MP1-310 (3099)-, place 2 washers between timing belt sprocket and counter-holder

   
Fitting position of the timing belt tensioning pulley
The angle bracket -arrow- must engage in the recess at the cylinder head.
