Removing and installing the starter
Removing and installing the starter
First remove:
–  Engine cover → Engine, Mechanics; Rep. Gr.10.
–  Noise insulation → Engine, Mechanics; Rep. Gr.10.
Removing
   
–  Unplug connector -1- (terminal 50).
–  Unscrew cable -2- (terminal 30) from the solenoid switch -3- (13 Nm).
  S27-0065
–  Unscrew both nuts (65 Nm) -arrows- and remove the starter -1- downwards.
Only for gearbox 002:
  S27-0066
–  Unplug connector -1- (terminal 50).
–  Unscrew cable -3- (terminal 30) from the solenoid switch -2- (13 Nm).
  S27-0067
–  Release the three Allan screws -arrows- (65 Nm) and remove the starter -1- downwards.
Install
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
