Removing:
  Note
2 mechanics are required for the removal and installation.
–  Removing trim panel for tailgate → Chapter.
–  Disconnect plug connections, hoses of rear window washer system and pull out of tailgate.
–  Unhook control cables of rear window shelf.
–  Remove pressurized gas struts → Chapter.
–  Hold the tailgate with the help of a second mechanic.
   
–  Unscrew fixing screws -2- (10 Nm) of hinges -2- and remove tailgate.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; pay attention to the following points:
–  Adjust tailgate → Rep. gr.00.
–  Adjust the stop buffer and check the opening and closing of the bonnet.
