  Note
t  Install the complete repair set when undertaklng repairs.
t  The brake calipers must be pre-bled before installing them in the vehicle (without brake pads) in case of a repair or when replacing them with new brake calipers → Chapter.
t  Thinly coat brake cylinder, piston and gasket ring with lithium grease -G 052 150 A2-.
1 - Dust cap
2 - Vent valve, 10 Nm
q   thinly coat thread with lithium grease -G 052 150 A2- before screwing in
3 - Screw, 30 Nm
q   replace after each removal
4 - Guide bolt
5 - Collar
q   insert into the slot of the brake carrier and of the guide pin; grease the slot first using grease packing from the repair kit
6 - Brake carrier with guide bolts and boots
q   is supplied as a replacement part assembled with guide bolts and boots as well as adequate quantity of grease on the guide bolts
q   if there is any damage to the boots or guide bolts fit a repair set (use the enclosed grease packing to grease the guide bolts)
7 - Collar
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   do not damage when inserting the piston
8 - Piston
q   removing and installing → Chapter
9 - Sealing ring
q   removing and installing → Chapter
10 - Brake caliper
