Engine number

The engine number (“engine code” and “serial number”) is located at the front at the joint separating engine/gearbox.

In addition, a sticker with the “engine identification characters” and “serial number” is affixed to the timing belt guard.

The engine identification characters are also indicated on the vehicle data stickers.
