1 - Clamp
q   replace if damaged
2 - Top coolant hose
q   Connection diagram for coolant hoses:
t  Vehicles up to 05.10 → Chapter
t  Vehicles as of 06.10 → Chapter
3 - Expansion reservoir
q   Check the cooling system for tightness → Chapter
4 - Screw cap
q   Test pressure 0.14...0.16 MPa (1.4...1.6 bar)
q   check → Chapter
5 - 5 Nm
6 - Connector
7 - Coolant hose
8 - Radiator bearing
9 - 5 Nm
10 - Clamp
q   replace if damaged
11 - Radiator
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   after replacing fill entire system with fresh coolant → Chapter
12 - Fan shroud with radiator fan -V7-
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   different versions, pay attention to part number → Electronic catalogue of original parts
13 - Bottom coolant hose
q   Connection diagram for coolant hoses:
t  Vehicles up to 05.10 → Chapter
t  Vehicles as of 06.10 → Chapter
14 - Charge air cooler
q   remove and install together with radiator → Chapter
15 - Bottom radiator bearing
q   black
16 - Clamp
q   replace if damaged
17 - Connector
18 - Thermo-switch for radiator fan -F18-, 35 Nm
q   for fan
q   switching temperatures:
1. Stage
t  on: 91...97°C
t  off: 84...91°C
2. Stage
t  on: 99...105°C
t  off: 91...98°C
19 - Sealing ring
q   replace
20 - AC condenser
q   removing and installing → Heating, Air Conditioning; Rep. gr.87
