Replace headlight fixing brackets
Replace headlight fixing brackets
If the upper or the lower headlight fixing brackets are broken or damaged, they can be replaced by installing the repair kit. The complete headlight must not be replaced.
  Note
t  Before repairs check if the headlight has no other damage, as the repair would be senseless.
t  The replacement brackets can be ordered separately see → Electronic Catalogue of Original parts.
t  Before repairs the headlight must be removed → Chapter.
t  After installing the headlight, adjust the headlight → Chapter.
Repair top headlight fixing bracket
   
–  Completely remove the original headlight fixing bracket as shown in the fig. -arrow-.
–  Insert a new bracket -1- true to form and tighten the fixing screws (1.5 Nm).
Repair outer headlight fixing bracket

–  Completely remove the original headlight fixing bracket as shown in the fig. -arrow-.
–  Insert a new bracket -1- true to form and tighten the fixing screws (1.5 Nm).
Repair inner headlight fixing bracket
  S94-0243
–  Completely remove the original headlight fixing bracket as shown in the fig. -arrow-.
–  Insert a new bracket -1- true to form and tighten the fixing screws (1.5 Nm).
