  Note
t  The exhaust gas recirculation system is controlled by the engine control unit via the exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- with exhaust gas recirculation potentiometer -G212-.
t  Inspect exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- → 1.4 ltr./55 kW Engine - Fuel Injection and Ignition System; Rep. Gr.01⇒, Repair Group 01.
t  Testing EGR potentiometer -G212- → 1.4 ltr./55 kW Engine - Fuel Injection and Ignition System; Rep. Gr.01.
   
1 - Gasket
q   replace
q   Check fitting position
2 - 10 Nm
3 - Connecting tube
4 - Filter
5 - 20 Nm
6 - Exhaust gas recirculation valve - N18- with potentiometer -G212-
7 - Gasket
q   replace if damaged
8 - Induction pipe
9 - Throttle valve control unit -J338-
