Inspecting fault lamp for the EPC
Inspecting fault lamp for the EPC
–  Switch on ignition.
   
The electronic power control fault lamp -K132- must light up.
If the electronic power control fault lamp -K132- does not light up when the ignition is switched on.
–  Inspect the dash panel insert and the electronic power control fault lamp -K132- → Electrical System; Rep. Gr.90.
–  Start engine and run in idle.
The electronic power control fault lamp -K132- must go out after a few seconds.
If the electronic power control fault lamp -K132- does not go out.
–  Interrogate the fault memory of the engine control unit → Chapter 01-1 and if necessary eliminate the detected faults.
–  Erase fault memory → Chapter 01-1.
If no fault is stored:
–  Test data bus cables → Chapter 24-7.
