| Always replace cylinder head bolts. |

| Always replace self-locking nuts. |

| Always replace the seals and gaskets during assembly work. |

| When installing an exchange cylinder head with the camshaft installed, it is necessary to oil the contact surfaces between bucket tappets and the cam track after installing the head. |

| Do not remove the plastic bases supplied as a protection for the open valves until just before fitting on the cylinder head. |

| If the cylinder head is replaced, the system must be completely filled with fresh coolant. |

| Cylinder heads with cracks between the valve seats or between a valve seat ring and the spark plug thread may continue to be used without any reduction in life provided these are slight initial cracks which are not more than 0.3 mm wide, or cracks exist only at the first 4 turns of the spark plug thread. |
