1 - Gasket ring
q   replace
2 - Retaining clip
q   check tightness
3 - 10 Nm
4 - O-ring
q   replace
5 - Sender for the coolant temperature -G62 -
q   with coolant temperature gauge sensor -G2-
q   contacts gold-plated
q   for engine control unit
q   before removing, reduce pressure in cooling system if necessary
q   test → 1.6 l/75 kW Engine, Fuel Injection and Ignition System; Rep. Gr.01
6 - Connector
7 - Heating resistor connection
q   14…16 Ω at 25 °C
8 - 10 Nm
9 - Thermostat for map-controlled engine cooling -F265-
q   with connection fitting
q   check → Chapter
–  Start of opening approx. 105 °C
–  opening stroke at least 7 mm
10 - Gasket ring
q   replace
11 - Coolant distributor housing
q   depending on version with connection for ATF cooler
