  Note
Before disconnecting the fuel hoses, mark assignment to the pipe supports.
1 - Return-flow hose
q   to fuel tank
q   check for firm seating
q   blue marking
2 - Spring strap clamp
3 - Preheating valve
q   Fitting position: Arrow points to fuel tank
q   if the filter is replaced remove retaining clip and preheating valve with the fuel lines connected
q   Temperature below +15 °C: access to filter open
q   Temperature above +31 °C: access to filter closed
4 - Retaining clip
q   replace if damaged
5 - Return-flow hose
q   from the injection pump
q   blue marking
6 - Intake hose
q   to the injection pump
q   white marking
7 - Fuel filter
q   fill with diesel fuel before fitting
q   the direction of fuel flow is marked by arrows
q   do not interchange connections
q   to remove, slacken clamping screw at bracket
q   drain → Octavia
8 - Intake hose
q   from fuel tank
q   white marking
9 - O-ring
q   replace
