Test sequence

–	Connect vehicle system tester -V.A.G 1552-. Switch ignition on and select address word 01 “Engine electronics” → Chapter.

Readout on display, e.g.:

If “2.0 ltr. R4/2V G” is displayed, the CCS is activated.

If “2.0 ltr. R4/2V” is displayed, the CCS is not activated.

–	Press → key and select function 11 “Login procedure”.

Enter code number by referring to the table below and confirm entry with Q key.

Login procedure

Enter code number  XXXXX

–	Select function 06 “End output” and switch ignition off.

After the CCS is activated, conduct a test drive as an operational check.
