Test fuel pressure regulator and holding pressure
Test fuel pressure regulator and holding pressure
The fuel pressure regulator regulates the fuel pressure in line with the intake manifold pressure.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Pressure gauge appliance e.g. -V.A.G 1318-
t  Adapter, e.g. -V.A.G 1318/10-
t  Adapter, e.g. -V.A.G 1318/11-
t  Adapter, e.g. -V.A.G 1318/16-
Inspection requirement
l  Delivery rate of fuel delivery unit o.k., test → 2.0 ltr./85 kW Engine, Mechanics → Rep. Gr.20.
