Actuate injectors N30 to N33

Actuate injectors -N30- to -N33-

Note

The fuel delivery unit must run and the fuel flow must be audible at the fuel pressure regulator. If the fuel delivery unit does not run, test actuation → 2.0 ltr./85 kW Engine, Mechanics → Rep. Gr.20.

–	Open throttle valve. After the idling speed switch opens, the cylinder injector closes five times.

–	The next injector is operated by pressing the → button. (Procedure can also be performed without testing the relevant injector.)

–	Test all the injectors one after the other in this way.

If one of the injectors is not actuated (does not click):

–	Test injectors and cable connections for an open circuit, short circuit to earth and to positive → Current flow diagrams and Fitting locations.
