t  Spark plug connector defective
t  Ignition coil defective
–  Test spark plugs and spark cables with spark plug connectors → Chapter.
–  Test ignition coil → Current flow diagrams and Fitting locations.
 
t  Injection valve defective
–  Testing injection valves → Chapter.
–  Test injected quantity and tightness → Chapter.
t  Unmetered air
–  Inspect intake system for leaks.
t  Engine damaged mechanically
–  Testing compression pressure → 2.0 ltr./85 kW Engine, Mechanics → Rep. Gr.15.
