Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Wrench for union nut -MP 1-227 -
Remove fuel gauge sender on the right
–  Unscrew cover below right rear seat.
–  Press the unlocking button and release the feed line and the return-flow line.
–  Disconnect the connector for the fuel gauge.
   
–  Slacken union nut with wrench -MP 1-227- and pull closing flange with sender out of the fuel tank.
Remove fuel gauge sender on the left
–  Unscrew cover below left rear seat.
–  Slacken union nut with wrench -MP 1-227- and pull closing flange with sender out of the fuel tank.
Install fuel gauge sender on the right
  S20-0054
–  check fitting position:
t  Marking on closing flange must be aligned with marking on fuel tank -arrows-.
t  Blue return-flow hose -1- to connection marked -R-.
t  Black feed hose -2- to connection marked -V-.
t  Connect the connector for the fuel gauge.
Install fuel gauge sender on the left
–  Check fitting position.
t  Marking on closing flange must be aligned with marking on fuel tank -arrows-.
