| Test the signal on the multi-pin connection on the dash panel insert. |

| Connect the test box -V.A.G 1598- with the adapter -V.A.G 1598/25- to the blue 32 pin connector. |

| Use the multimeter -V.A.G 1526 A- to measure the resistance between the chamber 8 and the chamber 7 (signal ground). |
| Coolant temperature 90°C: approx. 110 Ω |
| Coolant temperature 120 °C: approx. 50 Ω |
