Removing and installing luggage compartment light
Removing and installing luggage compartment light
  WARNING
Disconnect earth strap from the battery before commencing work on the electrical system.
  Note
t  Before disconnecting the battery determine the code of radio sets fitted with anti-theft coding.
t  After connecting the battery, perform the following:
–  on vehicles with radio encoding, carry out the coding,
–  re-set clock,
–  initialise power windows on vehicles fitted with power windows → Octavia.
Removing
–  Open tailgate.
Only Octavia:
   
–  Carefully clip the luggage compartment light out of the side trim panel.
–  Disconnect the plug connection.
–  Remove luggage compartment light.
Only Octavia Combi:
  S96-0071
–  Carefully clip the luggage compartment light out of the bottom trim panel of pillar D.
–  Disconnect plug.
For all vehicles:
Install
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
