Removing and installing the luggage compartment power socket
Removing and installing the luggage compartment power socket
  WARNING
Disconnect earth strap from the battery before commencing work on the electrical system.
  Note
t  Before disconnecting the battery determine the code of radio sets fitted with anti-theft coding.
t  After connecting the battery, perform the following:
–  on vehicles with radio encoding, carry out the coding,
–  re-set clock,
–  initialise power windows on vehicles fitted with power windows → Octavia.
Removing
–  Open tailgate.
–  Remove bottom left trim panel of pillar D → Body Work → Rep. Gr.70.
–  Disconnect the plug connection.
   
–  Release the nut -5- from the power socket sleeve -3- with cap -2-.
–  Remove the power socket -1- with sleeve -3- from the trim panel of pillar D.
Install
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
