Removing and installing the windscreen wiper and washer system
  Note
Before removing the wiper arms ensure that the wiper motor is in the park position.
Remove wiper arms:
–  Remove wiper blades.
–  Use a screwdriver to lever off the two caps on the wiper arms.
   
–  Release the hexagon nuts -arrows-, but do not unscrew completely.
–  Slightly move the wiper arms until they loosen.
–  Fully unscrew hexagon nuts and take off wiper arms.
–  Remove plenum chamber cover → Body work; Rep.-Gr.; → Rep. Gr.66.

Remove wiper frame with linkage and wiper motor
–  Unplug connector at wiper motor.
–  Unscrew nuts -1-.
–  Carefully tilt up the wiper frame -2- at the front -arrows- and then remove it from the plenum chamber fully to the left.
Remove wiper motor from linkage.

–  Unscrew the three hexagon nuts -2- at the wiper motor holder.
–  Remove the crank on the wiper motor, to do so unscrew the hexagon nut and then remove the wiper motor from the linkage.
Installing:
  A92-0017
–  Attach the wiper motor -1- with the crank to the linkage -3- (8 Nm) and while doing so, set the final position of the linkage -a-.
–  Screw the wiper motor onto the holder with the hexagon screws -2-.
–  When installing the wiper frame, guide the wiper frame into the plenum chamber with the wiper motor to the front.
–  Tilt the wiper frame towards the rear and screw it on (8 Nm).
–  Carry out all further installation steps in reverse order of removal.
