Removing and installing Control and display unit for air conditioner, ClimatronicE87 with Climatronic control unitJ255
Removing and installing Control and display unit for air conditioner, Climatronic -E87- with Climatronic control unit -J255-
  Note
The climatronic control unit and the control and display unit for air conditioner cannot be disassembled.
Removing
–  Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
   
–  Unclip trim -1- using a screwdriver. Support the screwdriver accordingly.
–  Release screws -2- from the dash panel middle part.
–  Pull out the control and display unit for air conditioner with control unit -3-.
–  Release the plug connections -4- and pull them off.
Install
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
–  Enter function 07 “Code control unit” → Chapter and subsequently enter function 04 “Initiate basic setting” → Chapter.
