Screw cap

q	always replace → Electronic Catalogue of Original Parts

q	removing and installing → Chapter

2 -	Release bearing

q	can be replaced on installed gearbox, after removal of the screw cap Pos. 1 and removal of the slave cylinder

3 -	Clutch lever

q	remove locking clip Pos. 5 for removing

q	fits in one position only

4 -	Bushing, small

q	removing → Fig.

q	installing → Fig.

5 -	Locking clip

6 -	Needle bearing

7 -	Bushing, large

q	pressing out → Fig.

q	installing → Fig.

8 -	Gasket ring

q	inserting → Fig.

q	can be replaced on installed gearbox, to do so remove release shaft Pos. 9

9 -	Release shaft

q	removing: take off screw cap Pos. 1 and locking clip Pos. 5; pull release shaft out of needle bearing Pos. 6 and gearbox housing cover

10 -	Cover for gearbox housing

q	as spare part only version with bearing bushings Pos. 7 and Pos. 4

11 -	Oil filler plug, 25 Nm

Press on large bushing -A-   Note Instead of the driver -MP3-504- it is also possible to use the pressure spindle -MP6-405 (VW 411)-.

Press on large bushing   Note Instead of the insertion tool -MP1-174- it is also possible to use the guide bolt -T30074 (10-15)-.

Pull out small bushing -A-interior extractor 12...14.5 mm, e.g. -Kukko 21/1- -B-countersupport, e.g. -Kukko 22/1-   Note The bushing is damaged when removing, always replace.

Press in small bushing

Insert gasket ring for release shaft –  Secure the cap for the gearbox housing in a vice fitted with protective jaws.
