| Inspect operation of Haldex coupling |

| Drive the vehicle with the front wheels onto a roller type test stand. |
WARNING | Keep the area clear in front of the vehicle. Proceed carefully when inspecting in order to avoid any damage. |

| Engage 1st gear and drive off slowly. |

| If the vehicle cannot be pushed out of the test stand at an engine speed of 1500 rpm-1, a defect at the Haldex coupling is present. |
Note | t
| The Haldex coupling is blocked by the driven front wheels and the stationary rear wheels. This means that the rear wheels are driven at the same time. |

| Only at engine speeds which are just above the idling speed and when the 1st gear is engaged, the Haldex coupling can briefly absorb the force of the speed differences without blocking. The vehicle is pushed out of the test stand. |
