Tightening torques > < Remove angle gearbox

Install angle gearbox
Install angle gearbox
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the following points:
–  On the installed manual gearbox, grease the rigid serration at the differential gear with grease for plug serration of clutch disc -G 000 100-.
  Note
   
t  Always replace the O-ring for sealing the angle gearbox/manual gearbox -arrow A- and the O-rings for sealing the bushings for oil supply -arrow B- and -arrow C- → Electronic Catalogue of Original Parts.
t  Before fitting O-rings moisten lightly.
t  Push angle gearbox fully onto the manual gearbox, while doing so centrically guide the serration of the drive shaft/angle gearbox together with the coupling sleeve/differential gear.
t  Bring the serration of the right flange shaft and differential bevel gear also into alignment, if necessary turn at the flange shaft.
t  If tooth positioning and centrical guidance are correct, the angle gearbox slips up to the stop against the manual gearbox.
t  Insert gearbox carrier for angle gearbox, before the angle gearbox/gearbox connecting screws are screwed in.
t  Do not pull angle gearbox with the fixing screws against the manual gearbox, otherwise the angle gearbox can tilt and the fixing eyes can break off.

t  The gasket ring -arrow- in the flange of the propshaft must not be damaged when removing and installing the angle gearbox.
t  Replace the propshaft in case of damage to the gasket ring.
t  Push propshaft horizontally onto the centering stud.
t  Assemble exhaust system free of stress and install bracket for the exhaust system at the assembly carrier → Engine → Rep. Gr.26.
t  Screw oil return-flow line for exhaust turbocharger onto the engine and install vacuum setting element of charge pressure control to exhaust turbocharger → Engine → Rep. Gr.21.
t  Install right drive shaft → Chassis → Rep. Gr.40.
t  Check gear oil level → Chapter.
